Greater Cincinnati Foundation has formed a strategic partnership with Black Achievers to further its dedication to racial equity. Through this partnership Black Achievers has created a job board called Diverse Talent Pool (www.diversetalentpool.com). Employers now have the ability to post jobs to specifically target the 4,000 Black professionals who are members of Black Achievers.
“A common problem I hear over and over again from employers is I can't find qualified African Americans to hire. Black Achievers has created a solution. We give employers access to thousands of qualified candidates located right here in the Cincinnati area. In order to improve racial equity in the region African Americans need access to new opportunities and higher paying careers. We believe that Diverse Talent Pool will be the vehicle that gets us there. The job board allows candidates to set up free accounts and search for careers. Candidates can also get help with their resumes, interview skills or career mentorship through Black Achievers workforce development program. The job board allows companies and non-profit organizations to post their job openings for free. Employers can also upgrade their free account if they want the ability to search for specific candidates with certain skill sets. There are currently over 2,200 active candidate profiles in the database.
